Curated by Frank Galuszka in collaboration with Chris Winfield Gallery, Carmel, this exhibition of work from a dozen celebrated landscape painters runs through January 28, at UCSC’s Sesnon Gallery - artists’ reception will be held on January 10 from 5-7pm. The show offers images that range from edgy environmental interpretations to just plain gorgeous. This is a show for art-lovers who don’t mind actually being able to recognize what they’re looking at. Among those painters represented are Peter Loftus, David Ligare, Helen Miranda Wilson, Jack Zajac, Eduardo Carrillo and a dozen others. Atmospheric and memorable. If you haven’t visited Porter College’s Sesnon Gallery lately, now’s the perfect chance. Open Tues-Sat, from noon to 5pm, the Gallery is upstairs at Porter, on the UCSC campus. For complete details see:http://arts.ucsc.edu/sesnon.
