The 2004 is definitely "trusty"...solid, full- flavored, balanced,- and the best damn meritage-style wine value around. It's the only wine I buy by the case for drinking at home. Nice choice with your dinner. (I'm also a FREAK for lamb shank...I've had good shank and bad shank and have never failed to finish any of them).
