Hmm, I liked the meatball sandwich I had at Lillian's. The roll was great. By the way, I hate to say it but the made to order sandwiches at the new 41st Ave. Safeway are yummy and a bargain (especially if they have a coupon that week).
Let your readers know your thoughts on the new "I Love Sushi" place (former Takara on Soquel Ave.).
What's with the Attic? Their menu is greatly reduced and now they have one of those rotating dessert cases that displayed a somewhat sorry-looking assortment.

...speaking of the Buttery. They have killer cookies and pastries but I've bee disappointed in their sandwiches. Dry and the cheese often isn't melted on the hot sandwiches, plus: where are the condiments? Some folks like mayo and mustard. They are not readily available.

Brava to you for writing a comment about a restaurant in Santa Cruz County that is straight on and asks the key question, "What were they thinking?" The majority of small, mom-and-pop restaurants don't have the slightest idea about a salient business plan which includes, without saying, a study of the demographics of the area, a five-year forecast, well-designed tasty recipes.

By writing an honest review, I believe that you do a favor not only for the prospective diners who should receive good food for their dollars, but also for the owners.
