					<description>Thinking back over this incredible, multi-course meal I have to say that the gnocchi with the rich beef might have been sufficient as the final savory. 

By the time we received the beautiful rack of lamb creation, we were sated. It felt redundant, which is a pity since it was a terrific dish in its own right.
Less might have been more, but I can understand the kitchen's desire for largesse - given the stellar wines and the price of the event.
