“A perfect storm” (ridiculous cable news addiction)
“Due diligence” (are we a nation of accountants?)
“24/7″ (Lose this fast!)
“Worldclass” (puleeze!)
“We’re on it.” (of course you are)
“Well, good for you!” (said about anything - this is a mindless phrase!)
“I’m all about ——-” (lazy use of the English language)
“Have a good one!” (I loathe this one - lazy beyond belief)
“It’s all good.” (mindless pothead jargon)
“Totally!” (on the other hand, I can’t live without “Whatever!,” said ironically.)

That’s my short list. Have I missed any?

    “Iconic”
    “Surreal”

Both are so overused as adjectives that they have their symbolic, dreamlike qualities.

“Quality” implying good quality. Advertisers love this sloppy usage because, of course, everything has some kind of quality so they can’t be busted.
    “How goes it?” (It?)
“How are you?” (when “answered” with the same question and neither party answers it. Mere simian grunting.)
“Whatever” (passive aggressive avoidance of the speaker’s emotional or intellectual truth)

    “…and the name stuck”

“across the pond” (I really hate this one)
    “no worries”
I hate “whatever” too. (Used far too often by my ex)
